Emma is the founder of Buttons Accounting, starting in 2004 with the vision to bring a friendly, approachable take on accounting services to allow clients to feel at ease and can receive the level of help they need for their business.

With over 20 years experience Emma has worked across a number of sectors but specialising in the outsourcing of accountancy services and implementation of IT systems/financial reporting.

Jill is a fully qualified accountant, and has spent her career within senior positions in industry, choosing to move into practice in 2014 when she joined Buttons Accounting.

Jill brings with her a vast knowledge of business acumen and works with our owner managed limited companies providing business advice, support and accountancy services.

Individual Self Assessment and Accounts Production Manager

Lorna has been with Buttons since 2011, working her way up from bookkeeper to overseeing how we deliver our services to our clients. As well as looking after her own clients Lorna also is responsible for ensuring the life span of the Self Assessment tax return client each year from the initial set up through to the submission of the tax return.

Isobel works predominately onsite at several of our outsourcing clients. Overseeing the accounts function and ensuring the efficiency of the team. As well as this Isobel supports Jill with preparation of the limited company accounts. Isobel joined Buttons in 2015.

VAT and Bookkeeping Manager

Sandrine has come from a background in small business in England and France! As well as managing her own clients Sandrine also takes on the responsibility of mentoring the AAT Level 2 apprentices, giving them the experience and support needed to nurture their knowledge requirements. Amongst all of this Sandrine is supporting Lorna ensuring the preparation for self assessment tax returns is as seamless as possible ready for finalising.

Paulina has discovered she loves all things payroll. Embracing the role in 2015 Paulina has organised the payroll service we offer into an efficient and accurate independent service. From processing holiday to dealing with HMRC Paulina has made the department her own. Paulina has now achieved her year 1 of her foundation degree in payroll management with the Chartered institute of Payroll Professionals.

Millie carries out our most important role, supporting the whole team with the day to day administrative duties, making sure we all function and are organised allowing us to maintain focus on our roles. Millie ensures client details and paperwork are maintained. Millie is commencing AAT Level 2 in 2017.

Starting as one of our youngest apprentices, Chelsea has come on leaps and bounds into tackling the accountancy world. Chelsea has now completed her AAT Level 2 and is commencing the AAT Level 3 in 2017. Chelsea supports Isobel onsite dealing with onsite bookkeeping and managing the client’s requirements. As well as this Chelsea also supports Lorna making sure the year end preparation is carried out accurately for the self assessment tax returns.
